On a bright & fresh Sunday(10th) morning in Dangan the U14A Devon Squad had their first friendly date with the Galway WFC Senior side. Despite missing a number of players on the day this proved to be a very useful test for the Devon boys. It was a game of two half's and it was in the second half where the Devon lads came into their own. Scorer for the Devon Lads on the day was Dylan Darcy Devine who finished well after a delightful bit of skill by Eric Diarra who took the ball from his 18 yard box, dribbled the length of the field  to deliver a peach of a pass. Special thanks to Manager Billy Cleary and Martin Delvin for organizing this game and also to  the Galway Senior WFC ladies. The Galway WFC side are well organized and technical footballing side who play a lovely brand of attacking football. We wish them well in their games ahead. We look forward to a return date with the ladies later in Season.

Thanks to Dangan Sports Complex for providing their fabulous facilities on the day
