SFAI National Cup U16 Last 16

Salthill Devon 4 - 2 Rockmount AFC

U16A win 4-2 Drom today in the last 16 of SFAI National Cup last 16. Salthill Devon came from 2 down to win in a well deserved game. Rockmount were up against the run of play as Salthill Devon did not take their chances in the first half despite having a strong wind advantage. Salthill players looked annoyed at the 2nd goal (a penalty) early in the second half and almost immediately got one back. After a superb 2nd individual goal by Aaron Dossen similar to a goal he got last week in Eamonn Deacy park brought the sides level. Louis Corr came on as a substitute and shortly after his first corner Uyi Osa crossed for a fabulous header from James Busari. Some nice midfield play led to another run by Aaron into the box where he was brought down in the box. A penalty followed and Andreas took the penalty making this a convincing win for Devon. Rockmount brought great support and were gracious in defeat.

An open draw in the last 8 awaits these lads in the SFAI National Cup.
